We lost by 8 or 9 pounds. SSC had over 25 guys fishing compared to our 12 guys. The team put in a valiant effort. I can't wait for next years tournment. We'll get them next year.

Johnny d, Had a good time !!! It was nice hanging out with you !!! Nick at A/Cfishing needs your addresse to give us a shirt !!! Other things,-- The tourny, we had about rough estimate 22 to 25 guys to their 40 to 42 !!! -- redface.gif All nice people whom I enjoyed comaraderie at the tourny. I Think next year we should be paired off with them. Cause that is their fishing area. Lets say we should have 1 Barner with every 2 of their people than I think it would have been fair.You cant expect a guys whose hasen't been there in 20 years to go down at 4 in the morning & expect to Beat the Locals.-- :rolleyes: -- I also noticed they load some of their fishes mouths up with Ice,not a bad Idea when it melts it adds wt. inside the stomach !!! tongue.gif All & All a good time.By the way I got 5 skates,1 shark,& a Seagull !! Good tournament even if we didn't win--like the idea of friendly competition. Nice to meet fellow Barners and shoot the breeze.

At least this year I had a few bluefish bite-offs. Not much doing on plugs maybe I'll have to try bait next year. Anything to help the Barn win.

dont worrie brian i think next year we should make that if u dont show ur bassbarn status is thrown out i think that way we will have a mess load of guys. and a litlle more organization for next year will be key

Guys good to meet you all, had a great time and fun fishing. No biggie on the loss. Got the lay of the land. Spotted the spots. Only a matter of time before we take home the cup. Remimber there is no shame in lossing on ones home turf,SSC HAS EVERYTHING TO LOSS. Time is on our side!!! SSC congats on your win,enjoy it because we'll be back. TEAM BASSBARN.

Brian,
I'm going to recruit a few more guys for next year! I'm hoping to get around 10 guys myself! So if we start now, I'm sure we'll have a beach full for next year!
