I did really well this weekend. First stripers of the year. Here it goes...
Friday evening caught 2 stripers to 20" on pink finess along the sod banks.
Landed 2 more stripers and a herring Saturday morning out on the beach on a deadly dick with a teaser. One was about 24" and really fat!!! The other was around 18". Slammed the blues (3-6 lbs)off of the beach Saturday afternoon. Also had a few more herring. Herring were taking a pink teaser.
Sunday caught a couple of more blues off of the beach with the same set-up. Monday morning nailed a 28 1/2" Striper on a deadly dick. Took it home to feed the family before they left to fight traffic home. Mmmmmm breaded striper... tongue.gif
What a way to start off summer. It was the first I time have tried out front all year. All were taken with 2 hours of high tide.

Nice report Brent. I got a 40" shark at night on clam. I heard a report of some early morning bass in the surf. We gotta hit the suds or the back together one of these days.

Still have the yak. Are you going to be around this weekend? If so, let's plan an evening trip to some sod banks. Let me know. I still didn't get those pics yet. Been too busy fishing.
