Some of our best fishing has been in the rain. Not sure what the effect is, but it seems to put the fish on the bite. Last November during gullywasher rains in NWW we had onefish after another, channel bass, blues and stripers. Go fishing Saturday, and another plus side of the rain, you'll just about have the beach to yourself.

Fish dont mind.....they're already wet!
Dont let rain stop ya, now if ya have lightning and thunder around......CYA!! Graphite rods and lightning should not be mixed!

I have to start somewhere.
Like Chtrugs, I was worried about the weather. They weather reports kept saying rain all day on Saturday. But I decided to go fishing anyway.
Went to the tip of the Hook. Got there at 6:30am. Caught about 12 blues. Most were small. Schools were a little too far out.
Then it got very windy and the fish stopped biting. It did rain, but nothing like they said would happen.

Welcome to the Barn, I fished Corsins sat morn., and as I walked into the water, on my first cast..ooops...forgot I had a nice hole in my chest waders, which I had not used for a year..well..was there about hour and half, no hook ups...so..I went to AC..and won $100 on the slots...haha..will be down again soon..And I guess I didn`t do too bad in the rain...
