LBI Report - Fathers Day

Me I my brother went to LBI with our Sons today. Gorgeous day. Water was so clean it looked tropical. Not a bump though. Fished from 5:30 am to 10:00 am w/o a thing. Saw one small fish released down the beach and that was it. It was great to spend the day with my son! The fishing is always great with him even if we're not catchin'!

Ran into Surfrat and his dad down there. Nice seeing you again Nick! How did you do!

Thanx again for the bloodworms, they did the trick. water was way to clean and gin clear for any bass to be cruisin on a bright day like today. it was beautiful. and those south winds dropped the water temps thus the slower bite on the fluke & kingfish. dad managed 2 small kingies on the bloods. both released. we hung out until about 1200 and packed it in. Next time we'll all be catchin hopefully. i caught the skunk today.
It was a great day with dad.

Nick, I think I'm going back to the nighttime sods and bridges for a while unless the beaches suddenly heat up with bass. If you want to go one night let me know. I can put 2 on the Yak. I usually go Thursday and Saturday nights but I do switch up to Fridays sometimes.
