Left the Manasquan Inlet around 11:00 headed south towards IBSP and found a huge fleet of boats. Fished and moved around until 3:00pm with NO Luck. Caught a Dogfish that was it. Spoke with a few friends who were also fishing and they also came up blank. How did you guys do today?

I have had great luck down there also this past few trips, guess I was either to late or just didnt have it today. Seems South of BI was the place to be.

I made my way north for some steady action with a steady pick of blues,(some huge blues) and a couple of keeper bass. Then anchored and managed 3 keeper tog. Back at the barn by 2. Checked by Fish and Game Officers at the dock...first time ever.
I see them around a lot, but first time they had the tape out. One bass and one tog were very close, but I measured, and remeasured on the water just to make sure.... good thing I did.
Weather was perfect.

We were on the beach @IBSP at sunrise and saw steady boat traffic headed down south. Once the sun was up, we were able to see a huge fleet on the horizon to the south of us.

On the beach it was more surfcasters than I've ever seen, lined up and down the entire stretch about 15'-20' apart. People were getting a steady pick of fish on teasers until about midmorning. My wife managed a 29" on her first cast. She then sat down with her friend and a cup of coffee, and gabbed the morning away, having done her job.

Left Manasquan inlet around 5:45 am and ran south to a just north of the BI. Slow pick but put 12 keepers in the box by 10:00. 28 to 34 inchers . Yesterday fished same area and had 54 fish,18 keepers. Kept 8 and released 10 plus 36 shorts. Ava`s early them Shimano Butterfly jigs when the fish went deep. Biggest fish were on the Butterflies .

Left MI at 11 am?

I don't know how the PM bite has been but we have limited out before 8 am in the BI area for 3 straight days. Secret was to get away from the fleet and jig on marks.

I saw a bunch of guys driving into the fleet and just picking a spot to drift without even looking at their fishfinder.

My crew of 4 caught and released over 60 bass today. They kept their limit to 22 lbs. The bite was insane until the fleet arrived. then it was a pick outside the fleet

I was out there in the dark before all the boats showed up. Caught 3 shorts and monster blue between 6:30- 7am. After that, nothing and headed in around 11:15...

Should have stayed away from the fleet. Had to be at least 300 boats there. Tried moving around with no luck. It was my first time going out of BI though
