sandy hook info please???

im heading to sandy hook on wed and maybe thur can anyone give me a hint or two as to where to go and what thye are hitting? also looking for other species besides stripers if they srent hitting my first trip with my new used boat!!!! thank you guys for your help

Are you fishing from a boat? If so, the bass have arrived on Romer Shoal and Flynns. I also heard some decent reports from Old Orchard. All on Clam.

There still are some nice winter flounder around too. Mostly back by Keyport.

Fished saterday north of the navy ships and did ok on winter flounder,14 to 16.5".Party boats were out front by nude beach,heard they did well but we only got skates out front so we ran back to ships.
Make sure you stay outside bouys at ammopier.
