Yo calmboni is that first pic taken up in Dredge Harbor? That place looks familiar,HRL

Clamboni
02-22-2005, 12:32 AM
Yeah,
The first one is in Dredge, the second in Olympia in Willingboro, the third is in Swedes Lake in Delran. First and third were the same day.

I wish I didn't fish alone so much, I'd have a lot more pics. I'll see what else I can find, but most of them are the old stretch your arm out as far as you can and hope you get most of the fish in the picture.

Took this one myself, Not bad I think. Small fish but it was February and my buddy wouldn't have believed me if I didn't have the pic.

here's a couple more. Wish I had people with me to take good pics more often.

Not a big fish, but I'm impressed cause I took it myself and even got everything I was trying for. Only took the pic cause it was the earliest fish I'd ever caught, mid Feb last year. Not really big on winter.

Yeah, that place can be incredible. Those fish were about 3-4 years ago, but I think it was July. Usually didn't do too well in there taht time of year when I used to get out there. I can't get out there enough cause I can't find an outboard I can afford to put on my boat.

BTW, Bunka, do you still have that 25 you were selling last year?

I'vefished Newton, absolutely horrible ramp there. Anything biggerthan an 16 alum I wouldn't even think of tryingto put in there. If you can getin there though, there's a lot of big fish. Cooper river is another bad ramp. They actually made a nice slab, nice and smooth and flat, but not enough water there. Only been there once, didn't do anything.

sutton
03-02-2005, 02:49 PM
There's some nice fish in Coopers including an occasional striper. Biggest suprise though, were some really nice channel cats on spinnerbaits..they towed all 240 pounds of me and the kayak around.

Looks like you can "Catch 'EM UP!" with the best of them. Fill the younger anglers in on tactics and patterns used in catching these lunkers.

Bill- you used to have nice wheels :)...never noticed fishing with you at night. I might have to root around for some of my old largemouth pics to see if I have anything to compete with those. I might have some with those same , tight OP shorts , circa 1976 :)
FinS- I grew up in Elkins Park, 10 minutes from Alvelthorpe and have many memories of catching nice largemouths there from the mid- 70's through last year. My best there was about 6 lbs, but lots and lots of 4's and a few fives over the years. Quite a little pond. Also participated in the bowhunt there afew years back, but that's a whole different story :)

I don't have pics of any of my hawgs, mostly because when I was heavy in LMB'ing it was before those disposable cameras really became widespread, and I rode my bike whereever I wanted to fish, and I bushwhacked to a lot of my spots, so one more heavy thing to carry around my neck was pointless. Plus, I didn't bother keeping score with myself. ;)

Bill Couch
08-30-2006, 02:06 PM

You know my oldest doesnt even like to Bass Fish so i taught most of my tricks to my 11 yr old son Jon.He has had 15 years of Tournament knowledge plus 25 yrs of general Bassin Knowledge tutored to him for the last 3 Yrs.And when i say this about his Bassin skills it makes me very proud. He went to Disney this past week and I packed him up My G.Loomis travel Rod with a Few bags of Senko's and Some Gami's and He set out on a mission.Lets just say he Lipped quite a few Florida Largies. He was bummed that I was out of 4" Senko's and I gave him 5"s.He told me he has confidence in the 5's now and I know I am in for a good ole Bass whippin when he gets back and we hit the Lake.:D

Heres some of his Pics it seems I take pics more than I fish when he's with me,,Enjoy !!!!!:D

Check out the gut on this one, looks like he just ate something big before slamming my spinnerbait:

My friend Justin admiring a nice one:

http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/7093/picture003qn8.jpg

Justin asked me if we could bring along a friend of his that's never been fishing before. This guy grew up in metro-Boston and had never even touched a rod until this day. Here's his first fish ever(no BS):

http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/8769/picture012au2.jpg

He got that on a senko in about a foot of water. Beginner's luck at it's finest.

And now for some bronzebacks:

http://img469.imageshack.us/img469/7120/newfound002rh0.jpg

Too bad I caught this next one prefishing for a tournament, I would've loved to bring this into the weigh-in:

Yeah, it's as cold as it looks in this pic (water 42, air about the same):

The fish came from creatures, buzzbaits , swimbaits, spinnerbaits etc. No magical lures, just in the right place at the right time.

all from 295 south:D

Here are a couple of new ones taken over Thanksgiving weekend in NH. The largie was 22" and fat, we didn't have a scale on the boat that day, but I'm thinking 6-6.5lbs. The smallie was weighed and came in at 4lbs 3oz.

me and my son at a private lake. fish measured out at 21/22". not sure of weight. I caught this one but he had his first fish that day..spit the hook at the bank....about a 2lb'er.
this fish was immediately released. caught on a mother of pearl bomber...super slow retrieve on surface.

Nice fish from Parvin man!

I'm surprised you caught that one off the floating dock; never had any luck off of them with anything.
