Don't know about crappie, but it does hold the NJ largemouth record.
Robert Eisele 1980 10# 14oz., which still stands today.

Good luck ever getting a bass in there of that size anymore. It's way too overfished now.
Here's a quick aerial map, perch:

I've heard that noone's sure if the record was actually in the sand ponds. There's supposedly another place called Menantico that it may have been caught at.

Clam,
Yeah, that's a rumor that's been going around for a long time. It was confirmed to me that it was in fact caught in the sand ponds in Millville, not Menantico Lake in Vineland. Hence why the ponds are SOOOOO popular now (also the "new" ramp doesn't help either). Though I wouldn't doubt there are some big hawgs in the Lake because it is privately owned...
Species (in the ponds and adjacent Creek):
LM Bass (duh, of course), sunnies, pickerel, yellow & white perch, crappie, huge carp, catfish, stripers (in spring), herring, eels, tiger muskie (very limited; came from escapees from an old stocking in Union Lake), and walleye (from an old defunct stocking program in the 30's, I hear some are still around in the deepest parts though). A lot of fish come up from the Maurice, so you never really know what you're going to find in there.
