attaching spinnerblades to jigs and plastic

Great to see a freshwater board! Anybody ever mess around with attaching a spinnerblade to a plastic bait like a 3" storm with any success? I was messing with one yesterday and it looked good(at least to me)

Yeah, I forget what they call that lure. It's a version of an old-timey lure, though... :D Worm-n-spinner or something. Kinda like a Texas-rigged plastic worm with a spinner in front. Works incredibly well hopped off the bottom or swam with speed.
