Hey fellas,
Good to see everyone is getting into gear for this year of great fishing! Me myself am anticipating my first boat lauch and trip of the year. I am just about raedy to go, but am looking for a bunch of new spots this year. Question for everyone, I am fairly close to crowleys landing and was wondering if anyone does any good out there, and about how far up the river you have to go to hit some deep holes. Also I fish chesnut neck for stripers in the fall and have heard reports of some decent size perch and crappie, is this true? Well any help is a big help and hope to see some of you guys out there this! Reel'em in !

BR23,we were waiting for the forklift to drop the boat in at the marina up the street from crowleys for a day of flounder fishing. So I threw a minnow in and caught a nice cat right off the dock,I was one up before we even got in the boat. That's the extent of my upper river fishing, but I will be putting the bass boat in there this season and check it out.

Hey Bent,
I fish the mullica frequently from Febuary to early May. I start seeing those perch bite around the 2nd week of March on blood worms.(hard to come by). The best thing to do early is explore these back creeks with a depthfinder, you will be amazed a how many deep holes you come over.April is the best you can be heavy into these perch and just like that be hooked into a slot striper pretty fun time on perch rig. I will be looking to do a little more exploring towards Log bay
