Has anybody fished lake nummy in recent years. I fished there about 20 yrs ago and had a ball. I saw a real nice largemouth caught there. any insight on this lake would be great

I always thought it was private campground type.

I never caught anything there but pickerel...lots and lots of pickerel. Which isn't really a bad thing, because most of them were fairly nice. All were 20"+, but this was years ago. I don't know how it fishes now.

As far as I know it's open to the public because it's within the State Forest. So is the campground, for a fee of course.

I used to camp there with my family every year.I caught a lot of pickeral and some Brown Bullheads.Never caught a bass there.I think they Drain it down every year.We used to jump our bikes off the dock into the Lake,LOL that was dumb!!HRL

Now ya wanna talk BIG BASS go to East Creek Lake.I fished one tournament there at night and 5 at 16.3lbs won.Wow.If you have a large group like a club classic or something the Lodge can be rented from the State,,HRL :D

I've fished East Creek before. A lot of nice fish there, the only tourney I've fished there was a lunker tourney I won with 4.46, only problem is, I think we had 11 boats there and with just that it was crowded. The good thing about tourneys there is that with all the stuff in the water around the banks, you should usually be able to fish the grass in open water without getting too crowded. That's how I won that tourney, If it was a 5-fish, I would have had about 14-15 lb on 4 fish. That was in a 5 hr tourney. That was one of the best days I've ever had on the water. Mid July I think too.
