spring lake,monmouth co.?

any fished it?lake size,where in the lake the trout are caught,opening day pressure,bank or boat fishing?any info is appreciated.i'm thinking of taking my kids there opening day for the kids trout derby.

Spring Lake is 16 acres. There is access along the entire shore, and trout are caught all over. Small boats are allowed and there are usually 20 or 30 on the lake opening day. No motors.
The bank is very crowded at starting time, so get there early.
Bring the kids by our tent for some hot chocolate and doughnuts in the morning, and a hot dog later.This is a great day for the kids.

I'm not familiar with any roads out your way. If you use mapquest, use East Lake RD. Spring Lake for your destination.
To answer your other question, yes, I help put the kids tournament together.
