Trout fishing

Any steams or lakes further south towards OC area that hold trout besides Birch Grove. I am an avid fly fisherman but never targeted trout. I always thought it was more of a northern thing. Any input would be appreciated.

Come on.. secret,,, just look up in the state brochure....Lets face it S. Jersey is not A trout fishermans dream. I am not a great fly guy, do it once in a while up north .The Maurice, in Vineland is one of the few moving waters stocked south of the Toms. Was there in the spring Bait fishing with no luck one day , and this guy comes along fly fisherman to the hilt. starts fishing the same area amd MUGS them, the fish acted like wild trout. only taking his flys. another fly guy comes along and trys but got nothing. untill he asks what they were biting on and when he switched to the same fly, he started bailing them also...I guess they hit a hatch of bugs and thats what they wanted. joe r
