FINALLY BIG BERTHA COMES HOME

Well didnt exactly arrive, i drove out to LI to pick it up as it was finally finished this past Thursday..... Taxidermist did a good job, except with the time frame in which it was done......
This was an awesome fish... And she gave an awesome fight....... Going back to Orient Pt on June 4th for another night of trophy fishing... can't wait.....

Fish caught on a charter with the famous Capt Bob Rochetta out on the North Fork of Long Island (Orient Point) back in June of 2003... fish caught in 25-30 ft of water, supper rocky bottom on a very small and thin eel. APPROX 930PM.....Fish pinned my 50lb digital scale, From the measurements the Capt. sent in the Taxidermist estimated the fish at 52lbs, Capt told me the fish was spawned out already, if caught 1 week sooner would have been in the high 60's
