Can anyone who fishes the river during the spawning period give me their predictions on when the Stripers might arrive this year based on the following factors:
- Mild winter(until now!) and south jersey reports of the fall season never coming to a complete end.
-About what time do you recall them coming up in past years?
Any feedback would be much appreciated. I primarily fish between Comm. Barry/Del Mem. bridges.

Also, since we know the fish took off from the outer banks and the Striped Bass Holocaust is finally over, does that coincide with their arrival into the Delawre Bay/River?

Should be soon. Guys trolling for stripers in VA are now catching flounder.

keepin it reel,
oh yeah they are due in on the 10:00 p.m. flight, and as far as the nc comment keep those to yourself just because some other guys in different states catch some big ones doesn't mean you have to be jealous, are you going to take cheap shots at me when i kill 2 big ones this year now that i'm allowed to,i can't wait for the slaughter to begin

Waterman, first of all, I dont get jealous of what other people catch, they're fish not women. Secondly, I'll keep 2 every time myself, but I don't see the need to keep 8 more than that. Thirdly, many people on this site weren't thrilled with the slaughterfest down there. Lastly, judging by your comments, i'm sure i'll have plenty of opportunities to take a future cheap shot...

if there is 4 guys on the boat take the legal limit that is what charter boats depend on catching fish and showing people a good time,no matter what you do you can't make everyone happy,if a captain got his charter there full legal limit of big ones i say way to go capt you did your job today, and when they come up here i am gonna kill two big ones everyday that i can whether rodnreel or speargun cause it is LEGAL

I agree with you Waterman.Just think what they say about us in November when we post just as many Bass Picks as they do in January. On a Good day in the Rips 8-10 Bass per trip is the norm especially if the guys have bonus Tags. Those NC Boys were probably like "God why do those Jersey Boys insist upon keeping those 24" Slot Bass,LOL It never ends,,If its Legal dont knock it.The "Striper Holocaust" omg It happened from Nantucket - Ocacroke Inlet for Christ sakes  ,Oh Yeah and 3rd-4th week of March on the River.Around the 14th from Elsinboro up to Penns Grove. :D HRL
