Went out of Shark River for stripers. Found bunker about a mile south of the inlet, loads of them. Drifted/trolled down to the next inlet. Not one bite all day. Didn't graph any either.

The bite seems to be on and off. We had 6 fish north of SR on Saturday. What a zoo out there. I've never seen so many boats along the coast before, and I'm talking at like 6am.

We were in the same area but managed to find some great action on the jetties. Less than ideal wind conditions for it, but there's nothing like watching a bass chase down a bunker at the surface.

Fished the jetty at SR on Monday afternoon.
I saw 4 herring, 1 flounder & 2 skates caught.
The herring were used as bait. Not one bite.
Very windy, lots of people.
