I saw a picture of a 42 incher a guy working at Whale Creek Marina caught of the dock on a plug last thursday or friday.
Pretty amazing, I guess I'll have to stop wandering the creeks at night.
Oh by the way, I'm a newcomer. Great site. I've been on SS.c in the past and didn't realize that BB is much more SJ oriented unitl I talked with some guys at the Avalon meeting last week. My loss until now.

Are you sure it was caught there? I was fishing from my father's back bay boat which he docks there, on Friday and watched a guy weigh in a 25lb fish caught from the beach. I heard of a big fish cruising the lights at night but I didn't hear of any body catching it.

I appreciate the welcome.
Capt Bill, i'm not sure. The guy said he caught it off the dock and released it.
