I was down in Stone Harbor from last thursday until today, but have no computer. So, I figure better late than never.

Thursday: Fished under the dock lights and picked up a 22 inch striper on clam. Was about 10:00pm and the tide was pretty low, but still moving a bit.

Friday: Dock lights again and this time picked up a 24 in and a 26 in striper. A few sharks thrown in , but it was mostly striper action.

Saturday: Hereford inlet. We defrosted a clam bomb from the spring and drove out to Hereford inlet around 7pm and fished along the sod on the inside. Picked up two 28 inch stripers, one weighing 9.5 lbs, and one 8 lbs even. Also brought in sharks, skates, and horseshoe crabs! At 10pm fished the dock lights and brought in a 21 inch short.

Sunday: Gut hooked a 24 inch stiper along the sod at about 9pm. Caught a few sharks too.

Monday: same evening routine near the sod. 1 20 inch throwback and a ton of small dogfish. One hit on a popper and one on a bucktail with a bloodworm gulpbait.

Tues: Skunked

Wed: 1 flounder at 3pm next to free bridge on minnow and squid fish finder rig. Under dock lights caught one shark, saw a cow nosed ray, several flounder, and a honking jellyfish.

All striper were caught on single 7 size hooks with fresh clam. The current had us using 3 oz weight on the boat, and no weight off the docks. Had the best action in 2 hours preceding low-tide. Sorry this was late, but I just got back home about 1 hour ago.

Good job rich.
I was out near your place a couple of times this past weekend with nothing much to write about. We'll have to try to get together one of these weekends.
Keep up the good work.
Brent

Brent, I looked for you but didn't notice you out there. I fished that channel right at the end of the street and only had a couple slaps at a popper fly and a spinning popper. I didn't spend any time with bait or bucktails though.

Notice I mentioned the cow nose ray....If they are in that spot in any numbers the spinning is going to get pretty difficult. Incredible fights, but man they are a pain!

I've got a new job so I won't be down as much for the next month or two, but after I get set I'll be trying to get there more than I did in the past.

Let me know when you'll be down again. We'll get out for some night dock light fishing.
Take care,
Brent
