Guys, here's a few pics of the winning fish in the Coastal Fish Mounts' Bounty from last year. Bob Cummings' 60-pounder taken in Del Bay. Awesome fish and an awesome mount. Mike Smith did his best work ever!
Mike, I'll be showing up with my "80" right about November 1st, so have a good supply of that new "secret" paint ready!

hey was that fish made from the original fish itself or was it a picture of the original because i was wondering if u could get a big fish like that taxadermied* by a picutre instead of killing it (an incredible job by the way looks amazing)

This fish was molded from the original, now Mike has a working mold of it so who ever wants another 60 lb Striper done all they have to do is take the measurements. Mike will verify this, but I think he has a number of Stripers molds to chose from now.

mako,
I might be wrong, so if I am Mike will probably come on with the correct price. I think he's right around $12 to $14 a inch. Then you add the pedestal. I know that my Tilefish Mike did would sell today between $1400 & $1500
Here are some shots of the Tile

Hey all, Paul was correct on the pricing, {I got to find a way to hire that guy}. The striper your seeing went for $1000 even. The fish alone as a wall piece goes for $725.Every self respecting "barner" needs one of these, don't you think? LOL, Mike@Coastal
