I'd say the migrators are up north with the cool green & blue stuff!
Just heard on KYW - 80 degrees in the surf and my buddy tells me it's like that clear out to the canyons. I think your post gives us all a good illustration of that.
No temputature breaks for da tuna either.

There are plenty of bass where I have been fishing. I am averaging about 5 each time I go out. All on topwater plugs. All fish are under 24 inches. :D

Strikes, My son caught his first Striper 8-10 Wed.night on OC surf 34 1/2" Very skinny fish, it must've been enjoying the hot tub condition's I think he likes fishing now !! smile.gif smile.gif

There are still some nice bass mixed in with the schoolies. Just got to go out real early in the morning, in the evening or at night. You just have to work a little harder for them. There aren't as many as the spring or fall but they are there. No one fishs for them, they are all off tuna fishing.

I don't know how many fishermen remember the Great Fall Run of Fish Here in NJ back in 1998. But this is where the water temps were back then...

Coming to Jersey this weekend hope to hit my favorite jetty for a couple hours Sat. night. Wasnt planning on bringing a rod but I can't turn those conditions down. Could be a start of a great fall run.
