After yesterday, Skip, myself and Bbunker decided we were determined to get out and give it another try today.

As we suspected with the sun, and warmer weather today, the water temp came from 41.5 to 43.8 today. And as it came up the fish decided to bite.

We ended up with 7 bass today, with the largest being 32", they were all nice and fat, and the ones we filet were full of ling, baby herring, and spearing.

All fish were caught on 1 oz. bucktails with a strip of mackaral, as the water got warmer they seemed to fight a little better, I guess they are enjoying the better weather too!! It sure felt great to have our rods bend again, after a long winter.

Thanks for the report. Good pics too, I remember what it's like to feel a rod bend in my hands.

A word of caution on posting pictures, that first pic may be sensored. I see a coastal land mark in the back ground and someone will be able to locate your spot.
