As far as I know they are alewives, they are the only ones I have seen on the Atlantic Coast Rivers.

I have only been to Trenton a couple times, but they are definately a little bit different, but I've also heard they are Alewives.

These must be staging fish, they are coming from quite far down the river and there are a lot of big females in the batch.

I do know that the powers that be are not making it easy for me or anyone else to get a legal candy fix this year.

Some HERRING have started to hit in the south river any 11th ave. dippers should have a shot probably starting tomorrow.
