Anyone know if any of the bait shops in Cape May have fresh mackeral?
Thanks.

What's the best bait this time of year - mackerel or herring? I thought it was herring but a lot of guys are using mackerel now. Is it 6.5 for one and half a baker's dozen the other?

We are using mackeral strips on 1oz. Andrus bucktails.
Try calling some of the shops in town, I am sure they may have some.
Good luck.

I will be helping the NJ economy on Sunday morning. We'll probably get two of everything. You don't want to be caught unprepared ;) .

Hey Scott-
I couldn't agree more. Most of the games are won in the tackle shop and on the drive down to the boat- the who, what , where , and how.
Remember- It's all about commitment!
Good luck!

Gun's no need to worry about the tackle shops not having bait for ya. They can see you coming a mile away, which gives them time to prepare...LOL!
