Mugged 'em pretty good! - ADAM BOMB 3/31

Hey guys,

We fished early this morning on the flood tide before the South breeze started honking. Aboard for the trip were Mike(loanfish), Dopic "SLOT FISH" Dick, Joe, Doug, Joey, and Chip. We had fish from start to finish with double and triple hook-ups throughout the morning!

Dopic Dick started breaking his striper jinx last weekend when he caught his first one in a while, and then today he ripped it in two when we ended up being high hook with 8 stripers for himself...twice as many as he had caught in his life up until that point. Great job, Dick!

We ended the morning with just over thirty bass, keeping several 29" to 32" fish and releasing many schoolie size fish in the 24" to 27" range. Thanks again, guys! Can't wait to do it again!

Great job Adam and crew....one question, what is wrong with that fish in the first and last picture. Did something take a bite out of it or did you lay the anchor on its neck?

Steve, I think that is a result of some trauma he sustained earlier in life, such as being caught up in a net. He doesn't have to worry about it now! :D smile.gif

It's good when you can comfort a fish like that. I love the calm look a tog gets in its eyes when you cut it's throat and place him in slush.

Just got back to accessing a computer, so I'm late in responding, but I thoroughly enjoyed FINALLY catching sonme stripers.

I only ever caught 4 total in my life before, so this was fun.

Next goal is to catch somethging bigger than a slot. i think that will happen soon.

Dick, I have to say...it was a pleasure to finally see you catch some stripers and to break the 'striper jinx!' I think I was more excited than you that you were finally able to catch a bunch of stripers in one trip. :D Next time, you're boxing a limit! :D I have a trip sailing Sunday afternoon.
