Big Blow on Saturday so no fishin for me. Sunday Weatherman said light winds so out I went with Mr. Gregg (no pictures) Bird. Gregg and his family have a B & B nearby and I was able to rescue him from a list of Honey-dos for a nice day on the Upper Chesapeake Bay. we were greeted by a stiff NW wind and choppy brown waters. We scouted around a bit for someplace clean, worked a couple edges, complained about the wind and the weatherman and caught nothin'. Hit an ole' reliable with several other boats around and picked off a few dinks here and there. Finally, around noonish, the wind dropped off. The sun was out full and it warmed up nicely. As a result every single boat owner within 100 miles decided to converge on the Flats. Cabin Cruisers, bowriders, jon boats, pontoon boats, even a sailboat or two. The conditions were tough with the roiled up water, but now became impossible with the constant boat traffic. We tried our best to make a day of it, hooking an occasional dink. Saw/heard a couple good sized fish caught on Bait. Like this one:

I'm givin' it another day to settle down, clear up and become fishable. We are gonna Kill 'em on Wednesday!
