I just found out that Frank Mihalic's Father passed on. Frank was with the Barn from the beginning and was the moderator of the fly forum, until recently, when he took on the undertaking of forming a fly fishing club for South Jersey anglers. Frank has given up so much to make the South Jersey Coastal Fly Anglers a reality. He always gave up his time to be there for everyone and always kept the spark and excitement of fly fishing alive...on the Barn and among our club and freinds. Frank has made connections over the past few years with world renowned fly anglers and tyers and brought them to us to share the wealth of information they have learned along the way. Frank has tought me so much as well as others. Keep him in your prayers through these hard times.

Its always so hard to give advice during this kind of thing...just know that the dark cloud that you feel now will soon pass and the light that follows will bring an enourmous sense of clarity and understanding. Frank, My thoughts and prayers and those of the members of the SJCFA go out to you and your family. No words can be spoken at this time to make it any easier. Just let the past pleasant memories live on and appreciate all the moments you had together and it will help you get through these difficult times.

Thanks to all, my good friends.
This is a tough time for my family. You all help more than you know.
My Dad was the first person to take me fishing. As the years wore on, he fished with me almost every time my boat left port. We had many, many GREAT times, and not many bad. He was a Marine who survived several winters in Korea. He never spoke of his time there much, as it brought back bad memories for him. He loved to fish and hunt. Most of all, he loved family. The day before he became ill, we had a Fathers Day gathering at his house. All of his children and grandkids were there to live and laugh. He felt good, and had a wonderfull time.
I am so greatfull that we had this day together. I am sure that it meant as much to him then, as it does to me now.

Thank you all for your prayers and words of support.

Frank & Kim,

I didn't see the post earlier or I would have responded sooner.

You and your family are in my prayers. Nothing anyone can say will take the hurt away completely. I hope that it comforts you to know that your friends and your extended "Barn Family" are here for you, should you need us.

God bless.

Sorry for the late reply!...Hang in there Frank. Only time will help heal the lost that you have suffered. The passing of a parent is something we all know that we have to deal with sooner or later, preferably later, but even knowing this is going to happen we can never be prepared for it. Even though I never met your Father I am sure that he was a great man. I can only judge this by meeting you and Kim. I do know that your both kind and warm hearted people and that is something that doesn't come over night, it is learned over the years of growing up with your parents. Sorry again to hear of your lost and I am sure that you guys will get back into the swing of things in due time!
