Just a quick reportran from Margate to Cape May looking for birdplay, Nada. Ran up past AC in 60ft of water NADA again. So if anyone was wondering if they missed something today they did not. Will try again this weekend.
HAPPY THANKS GIVING TO ALL

Make sure you ice up that hip. Too bad you had to run all over for nothing. Try again tommorrow.

Haven't found much birds either the last two weeks, have found fish though, just not on the surface.

Did you mark any bait? That dropping barometer ought to have schooled up some peanut bunker somewhere.

Was anyone catching bluefish to the east of you?

My brother & I found them last Sunday. I'm going to guess about 4 miles off Hereford inlet. There was a party boat from Cape May and a bunch of other boats chasing after the birds. The action lasted for quite a while. We got blues up to 15 pounds.

I did mark bait around some gannets. My cell is 609-432-3380 for anyone who wants to work together finding birds. I could not go out further than 3 miles cause the wind was blowing 30+ . I'll be back out Fri & Sat. trying again.
(the the new hip is feeling pretty good). It took me over an hour to get to Cape May inlet. I would stop real quick and look for for birds, then get going. Thanks Rodfather. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Question about the hip??? So when are you going back to the East Coast Surfing Championships??? Could give new meaning to that Ironman Title.

Fisher224,
I am hoping to start surfing again in late March, and hope to compete in the NE Regionals in May. Then hopefully compete in Hatteras in September.
