Fishing in the RIPS is the best in Cape May, without a doubt but I have my boat in Somers Point. Any suggestions on where to fish for stripers in this area? I have fished next to the Longport jetty and caught a couple but that's it. Any suggestions?

Fish are everywhere in GE. If you've got a boat you're 3/4 the way there :D .

Once the water cools and the blues leave, drifting
eels in the channel is very productive. The one
downside is the number of boats. Last Nov. there
were probably 100 boats out there...go early and
leave early. Most people didn't get out there
until 9am. Until then, try the bridges and banks
in back. Somers point has a lot of good back bay
areas that hold bass.

Bars, rips, banks, it's all good.
