All I can say is we made the right move.Got a call on Sunday morning from my friend Steve. His plans were to take me small mouth bass fishing on a lake up on rte 23.I talked Steve into launching his boat at Liberty State Park.Once we got close to Governor's Island we saw birds working.Bluefish all over. The Bluefish were 6-8 lb.After catching over 30 Bluefish we decided to put on 3oz Smilin Bill bucktail tipped with Uncle Josh # 70 pork rind and we both hooked up with Bass on every drift.Total for the 2 of us was 17 Bass from 27"-35".What a day in the Lower Harbor.
