Headed out this A.M. about 1 1/4 mile off da beach - made a left outta Cold Spring, anchored up all by our lonesome. Started catching stripes almost immediately - did I say wit' bellies? Oh yeah, too much Coors light. Had a steady pick all day, mostly fish around 24-26 inches. Left at 1400 with 3- 27"ers in the boat released a crap load more. No big'uns, just 24-27 all day long. By the time we left, about a dozen or so other boats ancho"fred" around us. No DOGS at all, a few skates. Most fish caught on the outgoing. Did I say BELLIES???

Sunday report. Gotta tell the truth. Went to the same spot as yesterday, a ton more boats, seemed to be most o the fleet. Anchored up in the same spot, last 2 hours of the OUTGOING tide, hit four stripes almost immediately, 3 shorties, 1 27" went inta box. Tide died down, caught nuttin, couple skates. Waited out the tide till the incoming, - nuttin. Left at 1500, water has gotten much cleaner - RIPS tomorrow???? Used frozen bellies, Fred sleeps too much to keep fresh available- kidding!

Lets see now. Last two hours means you got there about 9:00. One charter boat had limited out by 8:00 on frozen bellies. A few others had the same results but it was all early. Sounds like you slept late again Bruce. :D
Picking up fresh tomorrow AM. Should be back around 9:30 just about when you wake up. :D :D

Fred,
Mea Culpa, decided to wait for a "friend" PFD'er, who worked last night, "wa wa wa wa wah, we were up all night, chasin' fires, blah, blah, blah. Got a late start, you're right, went to the same place yesterday.
Ton of boats, but I already said that. Your bellies are the trick.
Right now we're eating striper chunks, drinkin' absolutely cold Coors light draught and eatin Striper chunks while awaitin NY strip!!
