Hit the sod banks near the Rutgers building but had nothing but short blues. I did hear of some decent eeling action near parkway bridge and some success on clam anchored out near the outer bars of the inlet. Wind will put a damper on our striper party this weekend though.

BOHICA,
Good to see you posting, it's been a while. When will you be making a trip down to our waters again?

Ah Mr. Nichols, good to see you're enjoying my posts. Thought of you as I was sitting in the rain and wind on Saturday Night on the shoreline reeling in a 28" beauty (striper that is). I should be headed down to Cape May in a week or two. I heard the blue fish are thick right now. Eeling just picked up in the Little Egg area so I am going to focus on that now. Let me know if you want to make that long journey up to exit 50 on the GSP for some clamming from the beach for bass at night. Hope all is well with the fly rod.

BOHICA,
In my opinion, there's nothing better than a fish caught from the surf.
The fishing has been decent down this way but with all of the w**d, the flyrod hasn't gotten much use.
What do you think, another trip on the Stalker in the near future?
