View Full Version : Introducing The Bass Barn Seminar Series!

Ron Redington
02-24-2005, 02:17 AM
Thursday evening March 10th at 7:00p.m will mark the start of our new series of fishing seminars. We're gonna start this thing off right with two captains which most of you who have been around the BARN for any length of time probably already know pretty darn well...

Captain Harvey Yenkinson of Vet Craft Sportfishing (http://www.vetcraftsportfishing.com)

&

Captain Adam Crouthamel of Adam Bomb Sportfishing (http://www.adambombcharters.com)

For those of you who may not be familiar with capt. Harv and Adam Bomb and plan to come to the seminar, you're in for a real treat!

These two guys are about as dedicated as they get and when it comes to catching fish...well, they do it as well as anyone!

Capt. Harv will get things started at 7:00p.m with a one hour seminar on "Flukasourus" fishing  with a "Q&A" afterwards. Then capt. Adam will take over by sharing his secrets to fishing for striped bass. Knowing Adam, I'm sure he will have plenty of good info on the Rips and surrounding areas. capt. Adam will also be answering questons afterwards smile.gif

This is going to be the perfect way to get a jumpstart on the new season. So please help spread the news. Everyone invited (Lurkers, that means you too!). The seminar will be held in the beautiful Savoy Inn located in Vineland NJ. And best of all IT'S FREE! For those who may need directions~ www.savoyinn.com/directions.html (http://www.savoyinn.com/directions.html)

Thank you again for your participation and we look forward to seeing you on the 10th of March!!!

If ya have any questions shoot me an email~ Ron@TheBassBarn.com

Sounds like a GREAT Seminar! I'll be driving over from MD. I've fished with Capt.Adam on the Adambomb and always learn something. Capt. Harv's post of the highlights of his presentation sounds great.

I haven't been to the Savoy since my SHHS Class of '60 25th reunion in 1985. Wow, makes me feel old.

This is a great board where I've learned a lot. I'll be moving to Lewes,DE in a couple of months so everything these Captains teach will be usable!

Look forward to meeting some of the people I read about on the board.

As for roo capacity...Our plan is to have the seminar in the Savoy's "Rose Room" which holds in the neighborhood of 100. Becuase we will be seated at chair and not tables, I'd imagine that # could possibly be a bit higher then that. The only one who can answer that question for sure is Tommy Guns. I'm sure he'll jump in soon smile.gif

The good news is...from what Tommy Gun's tells me, if we have "spillover" we always have the main ballroom which holds up to 500 smile.gif

So unless this thing blows up like off the hook crazy...we're in good shape smile.gif

See ya there!

I believe I finally worked things out to be there.

Let's see, Mary Poppins has a slot tournament at the Hilton Casino. I go down to my Court House place Wednesday night. I leave around 430 thursday afternoon, drop her off at the Hilton in AC. Then, I come backroading to the Savoy, have the seminars, and then I truck back to the Hilton at AC and pick up Mary Poppins, and then back home to the Court House.

Wow! That's about 200 miles, and if she don't hit at the casino, maybe several hundred $$$'s! :( :(
I'm planning to be there. :D :D

Ron, I thought of a great idea. You should make up a box, or something along those lines, for donations to the Bass Barn Reef Site Project. I think its an easy way to really get that total up. Thats the least we can do for a free seminar and refreshments! :D

OK Guys- the seminar has been moved to the Big Ballroom where the BarnFest is. There will be plenty of seat and I'm bringing in a bartender for those who care to dabble with the jimmy juice.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow nite at 7:00pm.
