Got them Good on Saturday 7-8

Was in Barnegat inlet at 6am, headed north and found a school of bunker w/ fish under them a couple miles up the beach. The bite lasted until somewhere around 9 am. Man did lots of boats show up. We caught about 12 fish, smallest was 25lbs largest on scale was 36lbs and largest/est was 40lbs(released). We released all but 5 whiuch were kept for dinner. It was some terrific fishin. I ahd looked for them several times only to find the bunker but no bass. it was certainly worth the wait.

I have some great photos, I am having trouble uploading them, I think the photo size is tooo big.

To-Do, Just Curious ... When you found the bunker and fish below, what were you using to catch them? Were you throwing lures or chunking?

croix boy alot of times just a snag hook is all that is needed.

Just snag the bunker and hold on or bring in the bunker and put back out on a circle hook

Were the bunker splashing on top or did you see them on the fish finder?
