Bass but no Blues

Been popping the sod banks pretty heavily this summer but havent hooked up with 1 blue fish... i found this supprising .. any reasons or ideas why, usually blue will hit anything that moves????:confused: :confused: :confused:

all the blues have been up where I'm fishing... all blues, no bass... I keep missing'em ;)

I've run into them acouple of times, thick one day gone the next,. Nothing of any size...

i was out today getting a reading of 78-81 degrees behing avalon

im gonna try the bay area closer to the inlet ...maybe thats the trick

Ive been killing at night with pink glup swim minnows with a 1/4oz jig head. I usually go off Corsens Inlet bridge. There i havent caught a single bass.
