Was out today from 9 am to 2 pm and the fluke fishing was very very slow at best. Worked the areas from keyport to belford and everything in between. Caught a single fish and happened to be a nice size keeper. There were very few sea robins even caught. Any of the boats I saw out there didn't look to have any better luck. You guys looking for bunker now, there are peanuts thou out matawan creek up to wagners and out at the sailboats. I had a large group of adult bunker come out of belford marine area this morning, but nothing w/ them. One other guy I spoke to had been at the rocks and had 2 fluke, that was his extent of a catch. The surface temp is 73-74 deg.
