fished off a pier in bay point and caught 8 stripers, all babys though between 15- 20 inches. all were caught on shedder and in about a 30-40 min period, then nothing but oyster crackers. you could see them on top of the water almost like bluefish. it was about 8:00 p.m.

Just curious, where is Bay Point, NJ?

This is the time of year to break out the flyrod and catch dozens. Those little ones are suckers for a fly.
