Went out after the weather cleared yesterday afternoon. Worked several spots in the bay for fluke with no results. Out to the inlet casted the fly at the working birds with no results. Trolled the fly thru the birds and hooked up with a herring. Drifted the inlet with killies for the fluke and a livelined herring for stripers/sharks/anything that wanted to eat. Nothing. Water was very dirty. Fished the 2nd half of the incoming tide.

had a very slow day in the bay aswell, lots of seaweed, one hit , no hook ups, fast drift, then wind against tide...might go crabbin today:rolleyes:

Try to fish the outgoing tide I've had much better luck. Maybe the cold water had something to do with that, the warm water flushing off the flats turns on a bite.
