Fellow Barners...I'm beginning to notice more and more images in your signatures...which is great. That's what signatures are for :) However, I'm also noticing some of the images are HUGE
Please gang, if ya have an image in your signature and it's the size of one of those pictures your parents used to keep in the family shoe box...er I mean photo album, please remove it and replace it with a smaller, more "signature friendly" image.
Thank you!

Well...ta be quite honest, your suggestion makes sense but it goes against why we created this forum in the first place. One of the major reasons why "BARN NEWS" exists is to eliminate having to post the same thing over and over again in multiple forums.
Not to worry though! In a week or so, with help from our mods, we are going to begin notifying members with signatures the size of billboards on an individual basis. With some cooperation, getting everyones signatures under control shouldn't be such a big deal **famous last words...LOL!**.

Now if I can only figure out a way to teach those who have no idea how to resize and image how to resize and image :)
That's the real "issue"...trust me ;)

I hear ya Ron....
But when Members see their Signatures take up a half page...it has to make them wonder.....all they have to do is ask for help and dozens of members would be glad to walk them through it.....
As for one time pictures of FISH, RIGS, & BOATS...that's a different Story the more detail the better.......:)
Great Job with the Site....it is greatly appreciated !:D
PS: I find the New Look for the Site to be very User Friendly

That's a very good point Team Z!
And if those looking for info can't find what they seek here at the BARN, a simple search on "How To Resize images" via ones favorite web browser would be sure to uncover any unanswered questions :)

It's okay Ron, you can use me as an example on that topic.
Thanks for squaring mine away for me, without me even asking. What great service.

Hey Ron,
I think there's a setting in the VB admin control panel, that sets a max size limits for signature pictures.
You can set bigger limits for sponsors pictures if you want.

Your picture is big for a signature photo. Actually if you trim of the words "ACTION CRAFT" and lose the big white space at the bottom it's not too bad.
