Bunker news/Needle fish?

Pods of big bunker off the beach between Sea Isle and Wild Wood yesterday. Live lined some, and fished spoons and jigs under them?. Nothing. Good to see them on the move though.

Been using the Needle fish plug lately. Anyone fish those things different then a slow retrieve?

I like to keep the rod kinda high, sometimes an occansional twitch, mostly im just letting the current wash it around.
