i did something new with the paint,it's hard to see in the pics.but the paint comes out in little circles just like small fish scales--it is on the silver;)

I as you may know I am new to plugging and I saw his plugs at a shop near me. If you have these they must be good. Can you tell me anything about these plugs and the maker. The price is decent on them at this shop. About half the price I think of some others I have purchased recently.

Bob Hahn was a major player in NJ during the plug building days back in the 90's,and as Ree stated above considered a "God" by many Surfcasters.
His plugs just flat out caught fish 10-12 yrs ago and have a proven track record.
Nothing fancy about them but they have a unigue flare to them,they are not sealed,no epoxy or protective finish so the paint doesn't last and they suck up water and stop swimming.. Years ago the joke was becasue the fact that they sold for a reasonable price ($7.) is that you would use it until it died and then bought another one.
Then one day Bob stopped making plugs for various reasons..And the fact that they were great plugs they almost became instant collectors items.
Some of them selling recently between $40.-$100.

Well Bob is now retired and living in Florida and decided this year to start making his plugs again.. Great for us fishermen,and almost like we are back in the 90's his plugs are selling for about $12.,(ThrowBack/OldSchool Plug Maker :D )well worth it in my opinion
considering the price of some of todays custom plugs running between $15.-$30.

So if you see them available, grab some and fish them, they have some
great mojo...;)

Thanks for getting back to me on the Hahn Plug question. I picked up the surfster with the spots and another in yellow. Not sure exactly what kind it is but the price is right on these plugs @ $10.95 for the 1 1/2 oz plugs. Not refined like some of the others I have but can't wait to give them a shot this fall. Harry at the shop in East Norriton raved about them and has them up front and is getting more in this week I hear. Tried to check out the web site on the packaging but it wasn't coming up on the net.
