Anyone know where the best place to pick-up fresh clam is in the Sea Isle area. I am heading out the later part of this week for a few days. Also any helpful tips on baiting the clam and chumming with them.

THE BEST PLACE THAT I HAVE FOUND IN SEA ISLE IS RED DOG BAIT AND TACKLE THAT IS RIFGT BEHIND MIKE'S SEAFOOD. JUST GIVE HIM A CALL AHEAD OF TIME. IF HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY TRY GIBSONS. GOOD LUCK

Gibsons BT and our newest advertiser Avalon's Hodge Podge Bait & Tackle n the other side of the Toll Bridge (your gonna check out the rocks anyway, right??)
Also try Blitz's Deli in the Townsend Inlet neighborhood in a pinch. Besides, the best Hot Roast Beef sandwiches on the island.

Please let me know how you make out. I will be down there this weekend, through next week, so any reports on the fishing and where to get good bait would be appreeciated. Are you fishing from a boat or the surf?

I like Finattics in OC They usually get them in the shell. Red Dogs are good but they are shucked and expensive I think. I Karen is open at Whale Creek she can get them if you call ahead.
