How much do you use say on a 4/0 circle hook while fishing the Deleware River? I hear some people gob them on the hook which may run a small fortune and others say they have success threading a piece on the hook. I was going to try it tommorow and was wondering if the threading really works if you were to cover most of the hook. Any suggestions on where to get some good bloods near Pennsauken? I was going to go over to Philly to Brinkman's. Thanks.
A little late for your trip but you only need one worm threaded onto the hook unless you have real small worms.

There's a new B&T in Oaklyn, on the White Horse Pike, he's got bloods. Good store.

Yo Bearzie!
We always threaded them or else they flew off the hook.
Be careful! You know as well as I do that those nasty things pinch and draw blood!
Don't you recall a statement you made about 5 years ago that you're actually afraid of them?
Have a great day Finaddict!

I usually slide some worm up my line past the hook, then tread some on and leave a little overhang.I use 2/0&3/0 circles and haven't had problem hooking fish up to 38".There is a few places to get bloods in Riverton & Riverside,a few indian food marts and a place called Ric's.He's a bit high but usually has them.

Thanks to all. I got em at Ric's. $10 a dozen. YIKES! Will try the shop in Oaklyn next time. Hey BMB it must be right near you. "I'm deathly afraid of them little ole worms!" LMAO I think you have me confused with Eddie. He was cutting the pinchers off at Brigatine when we were kingfishing. It was so funny. :)
I USE A RUBBER WORM CALLED A CATIPELLER WORM WITH LITTLE NUBS STICKING OUT THE LENGTH OF THE WORM, WRAP THE BLOOD AROUND AND AROUND BETWEEN THE NUBS AND THREAD IT ON YOUR HOOK, MAKE A BALL OUT OF IT, BAIT STAYS ON

Just like the place I JUST GOT HOME FROM WORK FROM!!! Bloodworm pinches are easier than that job was!! Spent most of the night ROTFLMFAO! (When I wasn't slammed busy with youknowwhats!!!)
Then it got worse!
I'm not confused. Eddie cut them off for you when he saw you sweat when you looked at one of those worms.
