ReelyHooked

After a couple tough days, things got a whole lot better yesterday.
We had tried eels and spot on Wednesday to no avail, just one feeble run off. But Friday we clammed the sods, and we were finally able to make some noise.
We fished the falling tide, wind was north but not obnoxious. We chummed clam and used clam for bait on fishfinder rigs. We hooked 6, boated 4. Three were perfect cookie cutter 27 inchers, one slightly better at 29.
A few skate, a couple dogs, but overall not a major menace. After the last two trips produced nothing, this one was a welcome relief, and hopefully the "ice is broken" and it will get better from here.
