What has happened to the Herring run at Batsto? The past two seasons now it has been non-existent. I go past there everyday, so I know I didn't miss the run. That use to be one of the better runs around, now nothing.

I was at Batsto about a 1 1/2 weeks ago and had fish in the stream behind the church. there were no fish by the falls. You may want to check your self I haven't been there since. I've been fishing in Mays Landing. Good Luck...

It seems that since they worked on the dam a few years back the runs have been weak to nonexistent at the falls

Ya gotta look around, I had all the herring I needed tonight in a very small freshwater stream that runs to the bay, not a person around, al the other guys were all jammed at one spot, if everyone stopped following the other guy and looking for fish instead of people you may be suprised as I was, but you gotts put the time in to look for them.
