I have been enjoying this site and the info provided for a few weeks now, and this is my first post. I recently purchased my first boat a (16 ft.grumman) and am finally able to roam the river after many years of bank fishing the Big D
I haven't heard of many herring reports up at trenton and was wondering if anyone has up to date info. I have fished the trenton wall area (from the shore)previously and was wondering where the best place to put in would be. Duck Island? And is a grappling anchor necessary? Any info would be appreciated, thanks

Can anyone tell me if they opened up the wall or is it still closed? I was down there 2 weeks ago and it was still fenced off with signs saying is was condemed.

If you look at the river thread started by In Depth weekly Trenton is a focal point. You can usually get accurate Herring info there.
