went today on the tide - tried the eel thing and went to all the old haunts behind sea isle/avalon. fished out going tide ,63 degrees not too much weed - no stripers to be had. great day to be out there and saw many boats. its gotta start soon. had the small boat so I didnt venture out in the inlet

no I get them at bills (my wifes rod and reel) my son does cast net for the bait fish though. Im getting lazy in my old age

Esox,

Got a couple crabbing this past Monday but they were atleast two feet long. Also got one a couple weekends ago on a live peanut, huge eel.

Anybody ever try the eel pot thing?
