It took me along time to figure this out and i am sure many of you follow this practice. Tie your rigs before you leave the dock, keep them in an individual ziplock bag. Keep this bag inside a small tackle holder along with a few swivels, fishfinders, nail clipper and weights. You should keep this small tackle holder in your pocket or on the deck closeby.
Now when you have to re-rig, you have everything you need ready, right at your fingers and do not have to spend the time finding and digging through your overloaded tackle box, retying the rig and rebaiting the hook.
I can usually retie and be back in the water within a minute. Sometimes the bite only lasts for a couple of minutes a day and you can miss the whole thing if you are messing around rigging up.
