Anyone in the LEI area know who sells ice (shaved or cube) in bulk. I've given WaWa enough money for ice to open up my own store.

If you can, and you fish often enough as it sounds, try buying a used ice machine. Later models are better as they use less electricity. E-bay would be a good start.

Howard Johnsons and some lawn garbage bags always works.

21C-SWIRL gave me a great tip. I bought a used freezer from him. He suggested getting those thin metal pans (thick tinfoil basically) for heating dishes, fill them with water, and make my own ice. I tried it and let me tell you...I will never buy ice again. You can reuse the pans again and again......

If you belong to MICA, fill your cooler there and throw a couple of bucks in the kitty.

Another method I have seen is filling empty .5 and/or 1gallon plastic milk or juice containers with water and freeze them, especially if you have an extra freezer.
