Generally, is this time of year more productive closer to the inlets?
I'm thinking migrating fish won't venture too far into the back bays. Or will they? Can I take my little skiff to my summer sod banks and use bait or am I better off heading to the sods and holes in or close to an inlet?

I think there haven't been too many in the back, lately?(Except rats under dock lights) Nor around the inlets in any real numbers. Seems like a slow pick.. I would say in the backbay near a inlet with bait, If looking for real bass? But, I think everthing will change soon and bass will be everywhere. I hope at least.....
