I received my info from the Littoral society today. We caught the fish on April 10, it was 27". It was initially tagged and released 6/3/01, in New Haven Ct. The tagger was Leroy Quinn. Leroy if yor a barner, thanks and well done.

To be honest, I was suprised at the slow growth of the striper. It only grew 4", inches in 4 years, does anyone know, is that normal? The littoral society is looking for new members. The fee is $25, plus $6.oo for 10 tags. It sounds like fun, I'm gonna join. If your interested, www.littoralsociety.org/tag.htm (http://www.littoralsociety.org/tag.htm)

My understanding is Stripers grow slow and live long lives. They estimated the 78lb world record to be 35+ years old
